A key heavyweight bout has been added to the match card of the December 3 UFC Fight Night event in Orlando.
Tai Tuivasa will take on Sergei Pavlovich in a heavyweight bout at the Amway Center in Orlando on December 3 later this year. MMA Junkie confirmed this news with several people of the knowledge.
Tai Tuivasa is coming off a KO loss against Cirly Gane this September. This loss broke his five-fight knockout winning streak. He had his most recent wins against the likes of Derrick Lewis and Augusto Sakai.
On the other hand, Sergei Pavlovich is on a four-fight winning streak. He hasn’t lost a match since 2018 when he was defeated by Alistair Overeem. Pavlovich’s all four wins also came via knockouts with the most recent one against Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimov.
Now, it will be interesting to see whether Tuivasa rebounds from his loss and break the winning streak of Pavlovich or will the latter continue to dominate the heavyweight division on December 3 at UFC Orlando.
