Ciryl Gane headlines the first UFC event in his country as he tries to bounce back from a loss in a Heavyweight title unification bout earlier this year to Francis Ngannou. He will be facing Tai Tuivasa, who is on an incredible 5 fight winning streak which has taken him to #3 in UFC heavyweight ranking.
In the co-main event, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker takes on former title challenger Marvin Vettor. This bout was earlier planned for UFC 275, but Whittaker withdrew from the bout. Whittaker last fought in February when he lost to Israel Adesanya via unanimous decision. Vettori is entering Octagon for the first time this year. He last defeated Paulo Costa in a light heavyweight bout after losing the title bout to Adesanya.
