Rinya Nakamura vs Fernando Garcia Added to Aug 26 UFC Fight Night Event
A new bantamweight bout has been scheduled for the August 26 UFC Fight Night event.
According to the latest reports, Rinya Nakamura will have his second UFC bout against Fernando Garcia at the UFC Fight Night event on August 26, 2023.
Carlos Contreras Legaspi was the first one to report this matchup, which was also confirmed by Marcel Dorff of Eurosports on Twitter.
Rinya Nakamura had his UFC debut earlier this year in February. He defeated Toshiomi Kazama in just 33 seconds via TKO and impressed everyone in his inaugural match.
On the other hand, Fernando Gracia is yet to win a match in UFC. He had his inaugural UFC match at UFC 274 which he lost against Journey Newson. His second match came against Brady Hiestand which he lost as well in November 2022.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Fernando Garcia registers his first UFC win or will Rinya Nakamura get his second consecutive victory at the UFC Fight Night event on August 26.
