PFL Challenger Series 2023 Week 1 Results LIVE, Welterweights
PFL Challenger Series kick started with welterweights action in the week on January 27, 2023.
The event was headlined by a bout between Lucas Barbosa and Itso Babulaidze. Lucas Barbosa had been active in a plethora of grappling bouts prior to his appearance. Itso Babulaidze was earlier part of playoffs in PFL Regular season 2022 where he defeated Mahmoud Fawzy Sebie. He had also appeared in CFFC and Fury Pro Grappling.
Eric Alequin was in the co-main event with prior experience in Combate Globale and CFFC. He faced Thad Jean who had wins in one appearance each in CES, CFFC, LFA and Combate.
