UFC Vegas 71: Ramos-Lingo, Gravely-Henry, Petrino-Turkalj Set

UFC has made three more fights official for UFC Vegas 71 fight card which takes place on March 11, 2023.

UFC made the fight card official for UFC Fight Night 221 on its website on Thursday as the tickets went on sale for the event at The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas. The official card also confirmed Petr Yan vs Merab Dvalishvili main event, along with several other reported bouts. The below 3 bouts are also added to the card now.

Ricardo Ramos vs Austin Lingo

A featherweight showdown will see Brazil’s Ricardo Ramos take on Austin Lingo. Ramos has alternated wins and losses in his last 4 bouts since 2020. He was last seen defeating Danny Chavez at UFC Austin card in June 2022.

Austin Lingo has not fought since August 2021 when he defeated Luis Saldaña at UFC Vegas 34. He was scheduled for two bouts in 2022, against Jonathan Pearce in February, and against David Onama in July, but pulled out both times.

Tony Gravely vs Victor Henry

The second bout to be made official was a bantamweight bout between Tony Gravely and Victor Henry. Gravely fought three times in 2022 and defeated Saimon Oliveira and Johnny Muñoz Jr. before losing to Javid Basharat in September.

Victor Henry made his UFC debut at UFC 270 with a win over Raoni Barcelos. A former Rizin FF fighter, Henry lost to Raphael Assunção in October 2022. Both fights went the distance.

Vitor Petrino vs Anton Turkalj

Another fight to be made official for UFC Vegas 71 is a light heavyweight bout between two Dana White Contender Series 2022 signings Victor Petrino and Anton Turkalj. Vitor Petrino will be making his promotional debut while it will be a second bout for Turkalj after he was defeated by Jailton Almeida in his debut at UFC 279.
