Pedro Munhoz Replace Henry Cejudo vs Marlon Vera at UFC 292
Pedro Munhoz is set to feature on UFC 292 PPV event as he replaces Henry Cejudo.
Cejudo was supposed to face Marlon Vera at UFC 292 event in a bantamweight bout. However, he pulled out of the bout earlier in the week due to a shoulder injury.
Iridium Sports Agency has now revealed that Vera will stay on the card. He is now set to face Pedro Munhoz in a bantamweight bout. UFC 292 is scheduled for August 19, 2023, at TD Garden Arena in Boston, MA.

Since the start of 2021, Pedro Munhoz has won 2 bouts and lost twice, while one of his bouts ended in No Contest. The losses have come against former champions Jose Aldo and Dominik Cruz. After this, his bout against Sean O’Malley ended in No Contest after he suffered injury due to an accidental eye poke.
Munhiz was last in action to beat Chris Gutiérrez at UFC Kansas City. He is currently ranked at #10 in UFC Bantamweight Rankings.
Marlon Vera is coming off a close loss against Cory Sandhagen in the main event of UFC San Antonio. Prior to that, he had beaten Davey Grant, Frankie Edgar, Rob Font and Dominick Cruz in consecutive bouts. Vera is ranked at #6 in UFC Bantamweight Rankings.
UFC 292 PPV will feature a bantamweight title bout in the headliner between Aljamain Sterling and Sean O’Malley, and a women’s strawweight title bout between Zhang Weilo and Amanda Lemos.
