Montserrat Rendon Set for UFC Debut vs Tamires Vidal at Vegas 79
Montserrat Rendon is reportedly set to make her UFC Debut at UFC Vegas 79 event.
Eurosport’s Marcel Dorff is reporting that Rendon will debut against Tamires Vidal on September 23, 2023 event. The fight is expected to be a bantamweight bout.
Mexico’s Montserrat Rendon is undefeated in her 5 fights so far. Her last appearance came in Invicta FC at Invicta FC 49 where she beat Brittney Cloudy via split decision. She signed with UFC last month.

Brazil’s Tamires Vidal made her UFC Debut in November last year to beat Ramona Pascual via first-round knockout with a flying knee. Prior to that, she appeared in LFA once and in other Brazilian promotions.
UFC Vegas 79 is set to take place at UFC Apex Center in Las Vegas, NV. No headliner is confirmed at this point. Muhammad Usman is set to take on Jake Collier in a heavyweight bout at the event.
