Mario Bautista vs Guido Cannetti Rescheduled for UFC Vegas 71
A bantamweight bout that was supposed to take place back in August 2021 has been rescheduled for UFC Vegas 71.
According to the latest reports, Mario Batista will square off against Guido Canetti on March 11, 2023, at the UFC Vegas 71 event.
MMA Island was the first one to report this matchup which was later confirmed by several other sources as well.
Mario Bautista is on a three-fight winning streak and is coming off a first-round submission win against Benito Lopez. Before this, he had defeated Brian Kelleher with a first-round submission. His last loss came against Trevin Jones back at UFC 259 in March 2021.
On the other hand, Guido Cannetti is on a two-fight winning streak and is coming off a first-round submission win against Randy Costa. Earlier this year, in March, Cannetti also defeated Kris Moutinho in the first round via TKO.
Now it remains to be seen whose winning streak will be snapped on March 11 at UFC Vegas 71.
