Lina Länsberg to Fight Mayra Bueno Silva at UFC Vegas 69
Lina Länsberg will clash with Mayra Bueno Silva in a bantamweight bout at UFC Vegas 69.
Ag.Fight reported this bout first before confirmation came from other reporters and outlets. The event also called Fight Night 220, is set to take place on February 25, 2022, at UFC Apex Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Lina Länsberg returned to the octagon in 2022 after giving birth but has suffered back-to-back losses. She lost to Pannie Kianzad via unanimous decision in April 2022 before another majority decision loss to Karol Rosa at UFC 280 in October.
Before all this, she also lost to Sara McCann via unanimous decision, which stretches her losing streak to 3 bouts.
On the contrary. Mayra Bueno Silva has won both of her bouts in 2022 to turn around a disappointing 2021. She defeated Wu Yanan via unanimous decision on the same night Länsberg returned to the octagon in April. Later, she defeated Stephanie Egger via armbar submission in the first round.
In 2021, Bueno Silva fought to a majority draw against Montana De La Rosa before a loss to Manon Fiorot. Her overall UFC record stands at 3 wins, 2 losses & 1 draw.
