Kai Kara-France Withdrew from UFC 284 Due to Injury
Another huge match has been scrapped from the UFC 284 PPV event.
A scheduled bout between Kai Kara-France and Alex Perez will not take place in Perth anymore as the former withdrew from the event due to an injury.
Kara-France himself revealed this news by sharing a post on his social media handle. In this post, he revealed that he is gutted, and hence he wouldn’t be able to perform in front of the fans in Australia.
Now, it is likely that UFC will find a replacement for Alex Perez for his match at UFC 284 on February 11, 2023.
This is the second notable canceled bout from this card, as a match between Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker has also been scrapped. Costa revealed that he would not be a part of this event due to a contract dispute with UFC.
UFC Perth or UFC 284 will be headlined by the lightweight championship bout between Islam Makhachev and Alexander Volkanovski.
