Dana White recently had a chat with TMZ where he stated that he is hoping that Jon Jones might return around this Summer, and fight at one of the upcoming PPV events.

UFC 275 is scheduled for June 11 and will be headlined by Glover Teixeira vs Jiri Prochazka & Valentina Shevchenko vs Taila Santos whereas UFC 276 is scheduled for July 2 and it will conclude this year’s international fight week in Las Vegas.

Dana White stated the lineup for this summer is incredible and he is hoping that Jon Jones would be a part of it. Jones last competed in February 2020 at UFC 247 where he successfully defended the Light Heavyweight title against Dominick Reyes.

However, he soon vacated the title due to a contract dispute and announced that now he would move up to the Heavyweight division.

In April, Jon Jones also tweeted that he is planning to return around June or July. Dana White also wants him to step inside the octagon during the same time frame.

On asking about the next possible opponent of Jon Jones, Dana White replied, “Stipe makes sense.”  So, there is a possibility that Jon Jones vs Stipe Miocic will take place at UFC 275 or UFC 276.
