On January 22, 2022, UFC announced the International Fight Week from June 27 to July 2 and UFC 276 to take place on July 2 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.

On March 25, 2022, ESPN’s Bret Okamoto reported that UFC is finalizing a fight between Jessica Eye and Casey O’Neil. O’Neil suffered a torn ACL and had to withdraw from the bout. Maycee Barber came in to replace her.[source]

Miesha Tate vs Lauren Murphy bout was earlier announced for May 14 UFC Fight Night event. However, the bout was later shifted to UFC 276 as per a report from Ariel Helwani. This fight was included in the official match card during June 26 Fight Night event. ESPN reported that Lauren Murphy had pulled out of the bout due to undisclosed reasons. The fight was later shifted to July 16 Fight Night.

Uriah Hall and Andre Muniz were scheduled to face-off at UFC Vegas 51, but Hall withdrew from the event due to undisclosed reasons. Muniz later announced on April 22 via social media that the fight is now rescheduled for UFC 276.

As per a report from MMA Fighting on April 19, Dricus Du Plessis will fight Brad Tavares in a welterweight bout at this event.[details]

Iridium Sports Agency announced on April 21 that Jessica Rose Clark will face Julija Stoliarenko in a women’s bantamweight bout.

On May 3, 2022, Brett Okamoto from ESPN reported Sean O’Malley to step up in the ring to meet Pedro Munhoz

On May 4, 2022, MMA Junkie reported Sean Strickland vs Alex Periera bout moved from UFC 277 to this event.

On May 5, 2022, Ariel Helwani reported Alexander Volkanovski vs. Max Holloway to take place at this event.

On May 12, 2022, MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin reported a matchup between Jim Miller and Bobby Green. On June 23, 2022, Bobby Green pulled out of this bout with undisclosed reasons. Donald Cerrone stepped in on short notice to face Miller. Also, the bout was moved from early prelims to the main card. This match was later moved to prelims on June 24, 2022.

On June 3, 2022, Iridium Sports Agency announced that Gabe Green will compete against Ian Garry. UFC made the bout official on June 14.
