BKFC 39: Norfolk Results Live, Barnett-Alvarez, Hart-Savage
BKFC 39 comes around on March 24, 2023, from Scope Arena in Norfolk, VA, with title fights in the main event and co-main event.
Reggie Barnett Jr. defends his bantamweight title against Daniel Alvarez in the main event. This will be his first defense. He became interim champion by beating Jarod Grant in July last year. He was last active when he beat Geane Herrera at BKFC 32. Alvarez will be taking part in just his second BKFC bout. He beat JR Ridge in his debut at BKFC 25.
In the co-main event, Britain Hart will take on Jenny Savage in a rematch to defend her Women’s Strawweight Championship. Hart won the title by beating Charisa Sigala at BKFC 29 in September last year. Hart beat Savage at BKFC 19 in 2021. Savage has two wins over Delaney Bailey and Nekah Dmitriyeva after that loss. Will she be able to take revenge and the title in the rematch?
