Welcome to the results blog for Bellator 290 event which featured a Heavyweight title bout in the main event.

MMA Legend Fedor Emelianenko battled in his last bout as he challenged Ryan Bader for Bellator Heavyweight Championship. This was a rematch from 2019, where Bader defeated Fedor via TKO in merely 35 seconds.

Fedor had since won his two bouts against Quinton Jackson and Timothy Johnson via first-round knockouts. Bader, on the other hand, went 3-2-1 since then and had lost the light heavyweight title to Vadim Nemkov. Was he be able to repeat his earlier performance to knock out Fedor again?

Johnny Eblen looked to continue his undefeated run as he took on Anatoly Tokov. Eblen was fresh off winning the Middleweight title from Gerard Mousasi in June 2022 in a big upset. This was his first title defense. Tokov came into the fight undefeated in Bellator so far in 7 bouts.

A welterweight bout between Sabah Homasi and Brennan Ward completed the main card. Check below for results from Bellator 290: Bader vs Fedor 2 event from both prelims and main card.
