According to the latest reports, Chantelle Cameron will challenge Katie Taylor for the undisputed lightweight titles on May 20, 2023, at the 3 Arena in Dublin.
Initially, Katie Taylor was supposed to face Amanda Serrano in a rematch, but the latter sustained an injury and had to withdraw from the May 20 bout.
It seemed like Katie Taylor would be postponed but Chantelle Cameron saved the day at the right time. It is expected that the bout will be officially announced during the Diego Pacheco vs Jack Cullen DAZN broadcast.
Taylor has been calling out Cameron ever since Serrano pulled out from the scheduled bout. Both Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron are undefeated so far.
Now, it will be interesting to see who will face her first defeat when they collide on May 20 in Dublin.
