Tyson Fury vs Joe Joyce Reportedly Targeted for this Summer

It seems like Tyson Fury has found a new opponent after a canceled bout with Oleksandr Usyk.

Mike Coppinger of ESPN recently reported that Joe Joyce is the frontrunner to face Tyson Fury next for his WBC heavyweight title. The bout is reportedly targeted for this summer.

Joe Joyce is currently scheduled to face Zhang Zhilei on April 15, 2023. If Joyce successfully defeats Zheili, then he will become the next challenger for Tyson Fury.

Tyson was scheduled to face Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight titles. However, the fight is off now as the negotiation broke down between the two parties at the last moment. Meanwhile, Usyk moved on to face the mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois.

Joe Joyce is also undefeated so far. He is in the red hot form, as he won his last five bouts via KO/TKO. Joe is coming off an 11th-round TKO win against Joseph Parker.

Now, it will be interesting to see whether Tyson Fury vs Joe Joyce actually becomes reality or not.
