WWE SmackDown episode of November 18, 2022, will advance the Smackdown World Cup tournament and will continue the buildup for Survivor Series WarGames.
The Honorary Use Sami Zayn will fight Ricochet, whereas Mustafa Ali will face Butch in the first-round matches of the SmackDown World Cup. Moreover, Ronda Rousey’s friend Shayna Baszler will take on the no. 1 contender Shotzi in a singles match. We might also get the confirmation on men’s WarGames match. SmackDown World Cup
The final two matches of the first round of SmackDown World Cup are set to take place this week. In the first matchup, the proud member of the Bloodline, Sami Zayn(Canada), will take on the Brawling Brutes’ Butch(UK). The second match will be a fast-paced affair as Ricochet(US) takes on Mustafa Ali(Pakistan). Santos Escobar and Braun Strowman already advanced to the semi-finals, and now the winner of this week’s matches will fill the remaining spots.
WarGames Match!
Last week, we saw a glimpse of men’s WarGames match from SmackDown side as The Brawling Brutes brought Drew McIntyre with them to take on The Bloodline. Roman Reigns is not scheduled to be at the show this week. However, we might get a confirmation that he will be leading the Bloodline in the cage match. But, who will be the fifth men in his opposite team?
Shotzi vs Shayna Baszler
Last week on SmackDown, Shotzi won the six-pack challenge in order to earn a SmackDown women’s title match at Survivor Series. However, after the match, Shayna Baszler tried to intimidate Shotzi. The champion came and distracted Shotzi and then Shayna choked her. Later, it was announced that Shotzi would get a chance to take revenge against Shayna as she will face her in a singles match this week. How will Shotzi fair against Shayna who has shown a new vicious side?
What More to Expect?
Bray Wyatt dropped LA Knight with a headbutt last week. How will their rivalry progress? Will we get to see more characters from Wyatt’s story come alive?
Santos Escobar managed to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura in their singles clash last week. But will Nakamura and Hit-Row continue their feud against Legado Del Fantasma? The Viking Raiders & Valhalla arrived to SmackDown to attack LDF last week. How will they factor in the storyline?
