WWE NXT episode of May 16, 2023, will see more matches of the NXT women’s championship tournament and will also mark the return of Supernova sessions as the build for NXT Battleground 2023 continues.
The Creed Brothers are to take on The Dyad whereas Wes Lee & Tyler Bate will team up to face Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey in another tag team match. Noam Dar will bring back Supernova sessions with Dragon Lee as a special guest. Moreover, Cora Jade vs Fallon Henley and Roxanne Perez vs Jacy Jayne are set under NXT Women’s Championship tournament. WWE NXT Women’s Championship Tournament
Indi Hartwell relinquished the NXT Women’s title after being drafted to RAW and a tournament was announced to crown the new champion. Last week, Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria advanced into the semi-finals. Now this Tuesday, the final two spots in the semi-finals will be filled as Cora Jade faces Fallon Henley and Roxanne Perez collides against Jacy Jayne in the quarter-finals. Who will book their place in the semi-finals?
Wes Lee & Tyler Bate vs Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey
Wes Lee has been feuding with Drew Gulak & Charlie Dempsey for a while before Tyler Bate also found himself in the mix. Last week, Wes Lee was in Bate’s corner when he faced Charlie Dempsey in a singles match. However, Joe Gacy interfered and Dempsey managed to upset Tyler Bate with a win. Now, Tyler Bate & Wes Lee will team up to take on Drew Gular & Charlie Dempsey. Which team will be victorious?
The Creed Brothers vs The Dyad
Last week, Rip Fowler & Jagger Reid of the Dyad challenged Gallus for the NXT tag team titles. The Dyad was very close to winning the match, but an appearance from The Creed Brothers turned the tides and Gallus retained the titles. Now, The Dyad wants to get their hands on the Creed Brothers. Will they be able to avenge their last week’s loss?
The Supernova Sessions
Noam Dar returned to NXT a few weeks ago to shock the NXT universe. However, Dragon Lee saw this as an opportunity to get his hands on the Heritage Cup. Meanwhile, Noam Dar decided to bring back the Supernova Sessions and invited Dragon Lee to be a part of it. So, what will happen when these two come face to face?
