WWE is Reportedly Interested in Signing Brian Cage Once his Contract Expires
According to the latest reports, Brian Cage’s AEW contract will expire very soon, and WWE is quite interested in bringing him on board.
His contract situation with AEW has been a bit complicated ever since he joined the company in 2020. At that time, he was still making appearances for Impact Wrestling. However, he got injured during a match with Rob Van Dam, and then eventually became All Elite.
According to Fightful Select, Brian Cage’s AEW contract was supposed to end in Mid-February. However, Tony Khan wants to keep him till the June end due to the time he missed when he was injured.
Brian Cage has agreed to work till the Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor PPV event that will take place at the March end.
Moreover, WWE is interested in signing Brian Cage once he becomes a free agent. Cage would also like to explore all his options before he signs a new contract with any promotion.
Now, it remains to be seen where the former FTW champion will end up.
