The Kingdom Trio Signs Full-Time Deal with AEW

The Kingdom AEW

All Elite Wrestling inks a new full-time deal with three wrestlers of the same stable.

Sean Sapp of Fightful reported that AEW CEO Tony Khan signed a new deal with the Kingdom trio – Mike Bennett, Maria Kanelis, and Matt Taven.

All three of them were hot free agents as their contract with Impact Wrestling recently ended at the Bound for Glory event.

Bennett and Taven appeared on AEW TV while being Impact tag-team champions. However, they dropped the titles at the pre-taping of Bound for Glory.

The Kingdom trio hadn’t signed a deal with the promotion at the time when they made an appearance. But, according to the new reports, they have signed on the dotted line now.

The report also revealed that FTR pushed for the Kingdom as well, but the context is a bit unclear. Now, it remains to be seen what role this trio will play in AEW moving forward.
