October 6, 2022: More names were announced for Call Your Shot Gauntlet match with Joe Hendry, Tasha Steelz, Kelly Kelly, Eric Young and several others joining the line-up.
September 29, 2022: Brian Myers issued an open challenge for Bound for Glory to defend his IMPACT Digital Media Championship.
September 28, 2022: IMPACT announced Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match for the event with 20 participants in the mix. Moose, Gisele Shaw, Rich Swann, Bobby Fish, Steve Maclin, Heath, PCO, Bhupinder Gujjar, and Sami Callihan were announced for the match.
September 23, 2022: At Victory Road, Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie and Jessicka approached Gail Kim about a rematch against VXT for Knockouts Tag Team titles. VXT got involved and this lead to a brawl between the two sides. Jessicka took down VXT easily and made her claim to partner with Valkyrie to challenge the titles at Bound for Glory.
September 23, 2022: Mickie James challenged Mia Yim for a match at the PPV, which Yim accepted immediately.
September 23, 2022: At Victory Road, Frankie Kazarian won Triple Threat Revolver match to become the #1 contender for X-Division Championship. Mike Bailey also successfully defended the title against Delirious to retain the title to setup a match against Kazarian at Bound for Glory.
September 22, 2022: Motor City Machine Gun defeated Aussie Open to become the #1 contender for IMPACT World Tag Team Championship. They were announced to challenge Honor No More’s Mike Bennet and Matt Taven at Bound for Glory.
September 15, 2022: IMPACT announced a triple threat revolver match for the #1 contender match for X-Division Championship.
September 1, 2022: Masha Slamovich defeated Deonna Purrazo to become #1 contender for IMPACT Knockouts title.
August 18, 2022: Eddie Edwards won six-way match to become the #1 contender for IMPACT World Championship, defeating Bandido, Moose, Rich Swann, Sami Callihan & Steve Maclin.
August 4, 2022: IMPACT announced the date and location for Bound for Glory for October 7 at The Armory in Albany, NY.
