Former WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon Underwent Ankle Surgery
It has been a busy week for former WWE CEO Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie McMahon revealed on her Twitter that she underwent ankle surgery this week. She expressed her gratitude to the medical staff and her husband, Triple H, for taking care of her.
Stephanie McMahon announced her resignation as the co-CEO of WWE on Tuesday after Vince McMahon returned as an Executive Chairman.
She took a leave of absence to focus on her family last year in May. However, she returned in July as co-CEO after Vince McMahon stepped down from his position after hush money allegations.
Vince McMahon returned to the board members as he wanted to help with the upcoming media rights negotiations. WWE also did a press release revealing that the promotion engaged outside advisors to support the review of strategic alternatives.
A few days ago, a rumor made rounds that WWE was sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Funds. However, it was just a rumor. After that, a report also came out that revealed Stephanie McMahon and Triple H opposed the possible sale of the company.
