Lashley vs Rollins, Owens vs Theory Announced for WWE RAW Sept 19
A singles match and a title match are announced for WWE RAW September 19, 2022 episode.
WWE United States Champion Bobby Lashley will defend the title and the right to be called Face of Monday Night RAW as he faces Seth Rollins next week on RAW.
Seth Rollins was backstage this week on RAW when he was asked about a rematch challenge from Matt Riddle. Rollins said Riddle does have to understand that he does not have a claim for a rematch against the Face of RAW. Lashley took offense to Rollins claiming himself to be the top star on RAW. An argument ensued and Rollins ended up challenging Lashley for a title match which the champion accepted.
Austin Theory attacked Johnny Gargano on RAW last night after he was able to defeat Theory. In his promo, Theory called Gargano a rotten fish at the bottom of WWE’s Ocean. Kevin Owens interrupted him and cut a scathing promo calling out Theory for being handed everything down and telling him that he does not have what it takes to be a superstar in WWE.
This led to a brawl between Owens and Theory and it took several officials to break them up. WWE later announced a singles match between them for next week of RAW.
