WWE RAW will present a new episode on September 12, 2022, and we are here with Live Results blog to cover all the action from the show.

It is going to be a big night for Dominik Mysterio as he faces WWE Hall of Famer Edge in a singles match. Johnny Gargano will return to in-ring action against a mystery opponent. WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be on the line as Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah defend their titles against Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky.

More build-up is expected to continue for Extreme Rules event. Bianca Belair and Bayley might once again come to odds. What will Matt Riddle do next to get Seth Rollins’ attention? Who will challenge United States Champion Bobby Lashley.

  • Damage Control(Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky) defeated Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah(c) in a tag team match via pinfall to win WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Rollins, Riddle & Judgment Day

Seth Rollins opens the show. The crowd is signing his theme. He asks the crowd if we believe in karma. He was a little skeptical, but 9 days ago at Clash at the Castle, universe was in perfect harmony when he stomped Matt Riddle’s head and 60k fans were singing his song. Rollins says he is not too interested in a rematch, inviting some boos from the crowd. “Riddle” chants start and Rollins shut them down in anger. Rollins says it is far too long that he has held a championship. Matt Riddle’s music hits and he comes out. Riddle hits the ring to attack Rollins. Rollins runs into the crowd. Riddle follows and Rollins rakes his eyes. Rollins runs to the back.

Riddle follows him back until the ramp. Judgment Day’s music hits and Damian Priest and Finn Balor come out. Priest offer Riddle a spot in Judgment Day. Priest says they were in same spot a while back – superstars held back by something. Balor says they are problem solvers. Priest tells Riddle that he can rise with Judgment Day or fall without them. Riddle says his focus is on Rollins for now and turns down the offer. Balor tells him that either he stands with them or he stands in their way. Riddle nails Balor with a ripcord knee and then clotheslines Priest to the floor. We cut to a break as Riddle gets hyped in the ring.

Finn Balor vs Matt Riddle

Balor is hitting chops as we return from the break. Riddle avoids a charge and hits a side kick. He hits a gutwrench suplex and Broton to get a two-count. Balor trips him with calf kick. A knee drops from Balor as he starts to work on Riddle’s knee. Balor pulls Riddle down from the second rope to the floor. Balor puts on a bulldog chinlock. Riddle hits an armdrag to counter it but misses a broton. Balor beats him down to keep control. He follows up with a snap suplex to get a two-count.

Riddle gets him up to his shoulder but Balor hits him with a cutter. Balor stomps on Riddle near the ropes for a while. Riddle’s bodyscissor takes Balor to outside. Priest gets in between when Riddle was going for Penalty kick. Riddle counters Balor with sidekicks on the apron. Balor drops him on the apron to get us to a break.

Riddle hits a fishermen’s suplex as we return. Riddle hits a Pele kick, running forearms in the corner and belly-to-belly suplex. Balor slips to the floor. Riddle hits a Penalty kick and then hits a springboard moonsault on Priest and Balor. Back to the ring, Riddle counters Balor’s slingblade and hits ripcord knee. Riddle goes to the top but Priest distracts him again. Balor catches him with roll-up before dropping him in the middle. Rey Mysterio attacks Priest and takes him into the crowd.

Riddle counters a distracted Balor with a facebuster and bridging German suplex for a two-count. Balor gets his knees up on Floating Bro. He hits a shotgun dropkick. Riddle comes back with draping DDT. Rollins comes to the apron to engage him. Balor takes advantage by hitting him with Falcon Arrow. Balor hits Coupe de Grace to get the pin.

Winner – Finn Balor

After the match, Rollins hits Riddle with the stomp. He screams at Riddle that it is over between them.


Damage Control are backstage and Bayley rants on Aliyah pinning the illegal woman to win women’s tag team titles. Dakota Kai says it is in the past and they will win the titles tonight.


Dominik Mysterio gets a recorded promo saying he has been bottling up his feelings for a long time and Edge got what he deserved. He then moves on Rey and says his father should have asked him what he wants to do in his career instead of teaching him. Rhea Ripley comes in and tells him something in his ear. Dominik tells his father that he is not a child anymore, but a man. Dominik leaves. Rhea smiles.


We get a video package for Johnny Gargano. Austin Theory is backstage and says he knows who is going to be Johnny Gargano’s opponent. It will be Chad Gable. Gable and Otis come in and says he will “shooosh” Gargano.

Raquel Rodriguez & Aliyah(c) vs Damage Control(Dakota Kai & Iyo Sky) – WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Raquel starts against Dakota with a knee to midsection. She throws Dakota with a delayed vertical suplex. Aliyah tags in and hits a corner splash. Raquel comes back and continues to dominate over Dakota, dropping her a few times. Dakota tries to counter with sunset flip but could not get Raquel down. Raquel throws her to the floor. Iyo comes in and gets thrown to the floor. Aliyah hits them with a dive to take us to a break.

Aliyah tags in and hits a double ax handle from the second rope on Iyo. She hits a Thesz Press. Iyo hits a kick to midsection. Aliyah dodges her suplex and hits an armdrag. Dakota takes the blind tag and trips Aliyah from the floor. Iyo hits her with double knees. Dakota comes in and hits a running boot in the corner to get a two-count. Iyo tags in and hits double knees in the corner. Dakota puts on a chinlock. Iyo tags in again and stretches her spine. Aliyah hits knees and punches. Iyo blocks her tag and throws her to her corner. Dakota tags in but Aliyah counters double suplex into double neckbreaker.

Raquel tags in and throws Iyo into Dakota before dropping her with clotheslines. Raquel hits a fallaway slam and corkscrew splash. Aliyah tags in and Raquel drops her on Dakota. Iyo breaks the pin. Iyo takes Raquel to the floor with headscissors. Aliyah rolls up Dakota but only gets a two-count. Aliyah hits a jawbreaker and a facebuster. Bayley puts Dakota’s leg on the ropes to break the pin. Raquel pushes Bayley back and Aliyah hits her with a dropkick. Iyo hits Raquel with a moonsault on the floor. Dakota hits Aliyah with sunset flip into double knees to the back and gets the pin.

Winner – Damage Control

Rey Mysterio goes to talk to Dominik and says he had no idea what he was going through. Rey tells him that he does not have to go through Edge tonight. Dominik is not even watching at him. Rey warns Dominik against facing Edge tonight and warns him how dangerous Edge is. Rhea Ripley comes in and tells Rey that Dominik is not his kid anymore. Rhea takes Dominik away.

Johnny Gargano vs Chad Gable

Gable starts with side headlock takedown. Gargano replies with the same. Gargano picks Gable’s leg and the match turns into some grappling exchanges. Gable takes him down and puts on an armlock. Gargano counters with a side headlock. Gargano hits a hurricanrana, armdrag and a dropkick. He gets a two-count with a crucifix. Gable hits a big punch to stop Gargano’s momentum. He hits some big chops now. Gargano kicks at his face to knock him out to the floor. He hits a basement slide into a kick before hitting a senton on the floor. We cut to a break.

Gable is working on Gargano’s leg as we return. Gargano nails him with big lefts before hitting a crossbody and a dropkick. Gargano hits a slingshot spear to get a two-count. Gable comes back with a crossbody. He misses a moonsault. Gable hits a German suplex and bridges it to get a two-count. Gargano counters a splash with GargaNo Escape. Gable counters with an ankle lock. Gargano rolls through and sends Gable into the turnbuckle. Quick exchanges between them and Gargano is able to drop Gable with a dropkick. Otis eats several superkicks from the apron before Gargano hits One Final Beat(draping DDT) on Gable to get the pin.

Winner – Johnny Gargano

After the match, Otis gets into the ring but Gargano hits him with more superkicks. Gargano leaves to the stage where Austin Theory runs him over from behind with his briefcase. Theory takes a selfie with Gargano on the floor. He then takes selfies with Alpha Academy.

Does Austin Theory Have What it Takes?

After the break, Austin Theory is in the ring and says someone has to show Gargano who things are run around here. He says Gargano is a rotting fish at the bottom of the ocean. Kevin Owens cuts him off as he comes out on his music. Theory says he is tired of getting interrupted by the likes of Owens, Gargano and Tyson Fury. He is the future of WWE and has had enough. Owens says they have been hearing the same thing from Theory for a while now, but it does work like that anymore. Owens says the likes of Gargano and Owens might not look like Theory. Theory cuts him in the middle and says he has done more than them this year than what they both have done in the last 5 years combined.

Owens points out how Theory was handed opportunities to get all of that. He recalls being handed Universal title on a silver platter, but that’s where their similarities end. Owens cuts a promo on people like Theory being dime a dozen while Gargano and Owens are one in a million. KO tells Theory that he does not have what it takes to be successful in WWE. Owens goes on a passionate rant to tell Theory how it is done.

The crowd gets behind Owens with chants. Theory flexes his muscle and says Owens will never be like him. Owens slaps him to talk some sense into Theory. They start to brawl. Some referees come out to break them up, but they continue to brawl. This goes on for a while. Theory gets his hands on the briefcase, but had to avoid a stunner and run away. Theory is bleeding through his nose. More officials hold back Owens.


WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair comes out to the ring. She talks about the open challenge she has issued for her title and said the reasoning behint it is that she wants to stay ready for any situation. She asks someone from the locker room to stand upto her. Sonya Deville’s music hits as she comes out. Sonya recalls their rivalry earlier in the year and said Belair she made a mockery of her position as WWE Official. She said Bianca made her lose her job. Belair says she is ready to take her on and calls for the referee. We cut to a break.

Bianca Belair(c) vs Sonya Deville – WWE RAW Women’s Championship

We get the official announcements done for the match as we return from commercials. Sonya goes for a takedown but Bianca counters it with a takedown herself. They switch waistlocks. Bianca is able to hit a gutbuster to get a two-count. Sonya brings her down as she counters a body slam. Sonya hits a low clothesline to get a two-count. She hits sidekicks in the corner and uses the ropes to choke Bianca for a while.

Bianca counters it with a snapmare. Bianca hits a big boot and big shot from the apron. Bianca hits clotheslines and a dropkick. A suplex and handspring moonsault gets her a two-count. Sonya leaves to the floor. Bianca lands on her feet as she goes for a moonsault on the floor and Sonya runs her over with a clothesline to take us to a break.

Sonya is in control as we return. She hits kicks in the corner before a snapmare into a chinlock. Bianca gets out of the chinlock. Sonya slams her face into the announce table before putting another chinlock in the middle. Bianca gets up to her feet and hits a shoulder tackle. She misses a moonsault and Sonya hits her with a running knee. Bianca ducks a roundhouse kick and hits a spinebuster. Sonya counters Glam Slam and rolls Bianca int othe turnbuckle. Sonya hits a knee from the second rope. Bianca hits a suplex. Sonya goes for a hand arm choke but Bianca comes out of it quickly. Bianca hits KOD to get the pin.

Winner – Bianca Belair

Bayley comes out after the match. She brings up Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky winning tag team titles and living upto what they said. Bayley reminds that she is here to take over the division. Bayley says Bianca is not able to sleep at night until she gets a match against Bayley. Bayley continues to play mind games and says she will get her match when the time is right. Bianca asks her to get into the ring without realizing that Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky have surrounded her. Damage Control attack Bianca. Asuka and Alexa Bliss come out to even the odds. They send Kai and Sky to the floor. Bayley stomps Bianca into the turnbuckle until she realizes that she is alone now. The trio beat up Bayley before Bianca hits her with KOD.


Omos squashed some enhancement talent in a handicapped match. The feed cut off during this time.


Kevin Patrick catches Seth Rollins for an interview. Rollins says Riddle needs to realize that he can’t take on the face of Monday Night RAW. United States Champion Bobby Lashley takes offense on that Face of RAW line. Rollins ends up challenging Lashley for the title match next week. Lashley accepts the challenge.


We get an interview with the Miz from earlier last week directly from his manor. Dexter Lumis was watching him from the window. The crew tries to tell Miz that Lumis is here. Miz does not listen. He and Maryse leave for a movie premiere. Lumis was inside the house and doodled Miz & Mrs.

Edge vs Dominik Mysterio

Rhea Ripley comes out with Dominik. Some boos as Dominik poses in the corner. The bell ring and Edge charges to push Dominik to the corner. Edge unloads with big rights in the corner. Dominik is staggered already as he is hit with a corner clothesline. Edge hits a headbutt. Dominik avoids a charge with leap frog but Edge catches him with a big boot. Edge hits a body slam and Dominik rolls to the floor. Rhea talks him up and sends him back to the ring.

Dominik kips up after dodging a charge but Edge drops him with a clothesline. Dominik goes to the floor again. Edge throws him into the barricade now. Edge clears the announce table. He goes to throw Dominik into the steel steps. Edge throws Dominik back to the ring. Rhea takes out Edge’s leg on the apron. Dominik whips his leg into the steel steps. We cut to a break.

Dominik is working on Edge’s knee as we return. He hits three amigos suplexes next. Dominik goes to the top now. Edge jumps on the ropes to trip him on the top. Edge nails him with elbows. Edge goes for a superplex but Rhea holds onto Dominik’s legs. Edge falls to the floor as he fails to hit superplex. Dominik hits a splash from the top. Dominik was looking for a leg lock but Edge kicks him into the ring post. Edge hits a flapjack, clothesline and an inverted bulldog. Dominik punches on his injured knee to break the momentum.

Edge kicks him away before hitting a DDT. Edge gets ready for spear now. Dominik ducks under it and catches Edge’s leg into a half crab. After a while, Edge counters with an inside cradle to get a two-count. Edge traps Dominik’s hands in the ropes and takes free shots. Edge was charging at Dominik for a spear but Rey comes into the ring and stops him. Edge throws Rey away. Damian Priest pulls Rey out of the ring and drives him into the announce table. Rhea Ripley gets into the ring and trips Edge. Finn Balor also gets into the ring and the referee calls for a disqualification.

Winner – Edge(via disqualification)

Judgment Day outnumber Edge and beat him up. Dominik takes free chair shot at Edge’s knee to cause more damage. They set up Edge’s knee under a chair and Balor hits a Coupe de Grace on it. Judgment Day celebrate by standing on top of Edge to close the show.
