Riho vs Hikaru Shida Announced for AEW All Out 2019

AEW has announced the second Women’s Match at All Out 2019 with Riho vs Hikaru Shida set to take place at the show.

Earlier, AEW announced that a Women’s Casino Battle Royal will take place at the All Out’s Buy In pre-show. The match will determine the first contender for the AEW Women’s Championship match which will take place at AEW’s TV debut on 2 October 2019. Earlier today, AEW’s Twitter also announced the match between Riho and Hikaru Shida for the main show.

Both Riho and Shida made their AEW Debut at Double or Nothing when they teamed up with Ryo Mizunami to take on Aja Kong, Emi Sakura, and Yuka Sakazaki. Later, Riho was also part of Fyter Fest where she won the triple threat match against Nyla Rose and Yuka Sakazaki. She also teamed up with Britt Baker to win a tag team match at Fight for the Fallen.

AEW Executive Vice President Kenny Omega is in charge of setting up the Women’s matches. He was also one of the driving forces in bringing in Joshi wrestlers to AEW. Omega took to Twitter to express his opinion regarding the match.
