Ricochet vs Escobar SmackDown World Cup Final Set for December 2
One match is announced for WWE SmackDown episode of December 2, 2022, with Ricochet and Santos Escobar clashing in the final of SmackDown World Cup.
The two semifinal matches of SmackDown World Cup took place this week. Santos Escobar managed to defeat Butch after Legado Del Fantasma helped out Escobar to get the pinfall.
Braun Strowman was in control against Ricochet in the second semifinal when Imperium came out to distract him. Ricochet caught Strowman with a crucifix to get the pin. Post-match, Imperium attacked Strowman and Ricochet had to come in to help him out. Ricochet also got caught in the numbers game before Strowman made a comeback to stand tall at last.
Santos Escobar and Ricochet will now clash in the final next week in what is expected to be a fast-paced high flying contest.
December 2, 2022 edition of WWE SmackDown will also deal with the fallout of Survivor Series WarGames 2022. Along with this, we might also see the continuation of the storyline between LA Knight and Bray Wyatt.
