WWE will present their traditional Boxing Day Live Event on December 26, 2022, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Gunther will defend Intercontinental Championship in a ladder match against the likes of Kofi Kingston, Madcap Moss and others. - Sheamus & Ridge Holland beat Imperium(Ludwig Kaiser & Giovanni Vinci) in a tag team match. Sheamus hits a Brogue kick on Vinci for the pinfall.
- Hit-Row(Top Dolla, Ashante Thee Adonis & B-Fab) defeated Legado Del Fantasma(Joaquin Wilde & Cruz del Toro). Top Dolla and Adonis hit a double team finisher on Wilde to get a pinfall.
- Santos Escobar appeared on the big screen to express his displeasure on his team losing tonight. He plugged in Intercontinental title ladder match and said he will make it up by winning that match.
- Jinder Mahal came out and put out an open challenge after being overlooked for the Intercontinental title ladder match later tonight. Bray Wyatt answered the challenge and received a huge pop from the crowd. Wyatt defeated Mahal via pinfall after Sister Abigail.
- Sami Zayn ran into Braun Strowman backstage as he was filming a video. Strowman says he will teach Sami a lesson in respect later tonight.
- Gunther beat Shinsuke Nakamura, Kofi Kingston, Santos Escobar & Madcap Moss in a Ladder Match to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship. Escobar was escorted out after a stomp from Kofi on the ladder.
- Karrion Kross beat Drew Gulak via pinfall after what is said to be a very good wrestling match.
- Liv Morgan beat Shayna Baszler in a New York City Street Fight. Morgan hit a leg drop from the top rope on the table to get a pinfall. The table did not break.
- Braun Strowman vs Sami Zayn was supposed to be the main event. But, Sami said he was not medically cleared. Strowman battled Solo Sikoa which ended in a DQ after The Usos attacked Strowman to stop a powerslam from Strowman. Kevin Owens came out to save Strowman from beatdown.
- Kevin Owens & Braun Strowman defeated The Usos(Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) in a non-title tag team match in the main event. Owens pinned Jimmy after a stunner while Strowman took out Jey with a powerslam.
