Women’s Tag Title and Ziggler-Miz Match Announced for RAW
WWE has announced two matches for the post SummerSlam episode of RAW on 12 August 2019.
The new Women’s tag team champions, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will have to defend their titles just one week later as they would face the Kabuki Warriors. Last week, Kabuki Warriors was the last team that was eliminated in the fatal 4-way elimination match by Bliss-Cross to win the titles.
Warriors have been in pursuit of the titles ever since their introduction back in April. They even won a match against the IIconics when the erstwhile champions disqualified themselves. But since the win was with DQ, the IIconics retained the titles. This match would come as another opportunity for them to get their hands on the title.
The second match was already announced by the Miz during the last segment of RAW this week. After Dolph Ziggler signed the contract for their ‘announced’ match at Summerslam, the Miz went on to announce that he will face Ziggler. But not at SummerSlam, instead it will take place at RAW next week. Now the said match is confirmed.
Ziggler will actually be facing Goldberg at SummerSlam now. WWE Hall of Famer has raised doubts over the match at RAW as he took to Twitter as he wondered whether Ziggler will survive till Monday or will he be in the hospital after their bout.
