Judgment Day vs The OC Announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2022
A big trios match is announced for WWE Crown Jewel 2022 event as The OC will take on Judgment Day.
The OC consists of former NJPW Bullet Club leader AJ Styles and current members Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. While Judgment Day is led by the initiator of Bullet Club Finn Balor along with Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio.
Judgment Day was trying to recruit AJ Styles to their ranks due to both Balor & Styles’ association with Bullet Club. When Styles resisted, the faction attacked Styles two weeks back on RAW. Styles came out last week and tricked Judgment Day into thinking that he is ready to join the faction. Instead, he brought back his former stablemates from the OC and former WWE RAW Tag Team Champions, The Good Brothers Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows. A brawl ensued where The OC stood tall.
This week on RAW, The Good Brothers defeated Alpha Academy in their first match since their return and came out on the winning side. Judgment Day interrupted their post-match segment and Balor proposed a six-man tag team match for Crown Jewel. AJ Styles accepted the challenge but wanted it right away. However, after insult hurling from both camps, Styles challenged Dominik Mysterio to a singles match later in the show.
WWE confirmed the match during RAW broadcast along with confirming Brock Lesnar vs Bobby Lashley match. This was the third match to be confirmed for the show on November 5, 2022. Undisputed WWE Universal Championship match between Roman Reigns and Logan Paul is going to be the main event.
Styles dominated his match against Dominik, but an interruption from Rhea Ripley led to Dominik rolling up Styles for the pin. Will the match at Crown Jewel turn out to be the same?
