Tag Matches Announced for SmackDown 8 May 2020 Episode
WWE has announced 2 tag team matches for Friday Night SmackDown episode for 8 May 2020.
First of those matches will be a 6 men tag team match between the teams of Baron Corbin and Daniel Bryan. Corbin will partner with Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro while Bryan will be getting a mystery partner along with Drew Gulak. Bryan and Corbin battled in a singles match last night where Bryan came out on the winning side, but Nakamura and Cesaro joined Corbin in attacking Bryan after the match.
The second tag team match will also be from an ongoing storyline with Boss N’ Hug Connection- Sasha Banks and WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley taking on Lacey Evans and Tamina Snuka. Tamina will be challenging Bayley for the title at Money in the Bank PPV next Sunday.
Another set of opponents from Money in the Bank 2020 PPV will also be coming face-to-face next week. WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman got frustrated with Bray Wyatt’s antics in Firefly Fun House and asked him to meet him in the ring to talk further.
Jeff Hardy is also slated to make his return to SmackDown next week. However, it is not announced whether he will be involved in a match or not. The four-part special series on his WWE career was finished on last night’s episode. Although, Sheamus, his prospective rival going forward, has also announced that he will be waiting if Hardy shows up next week.
8 May edition of SmackDown will be the go-home show for WWE Money in the Bank 2020 PPV, which takes place on 10 May.
