Newly Crowned Tag Team & Women’s Champion Set to Appear on April 7 SmackDown
Newly crowned Undisputed WWE tag team champions and SmackDown women’s champions are all set to appear this Friday on SmackDown.
WWE announced that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn would appear on the blue brand to celebrate their epic win against The Usos at WWE WrestleMania 39. KO & Zayn even defended their titles successfully against the Street Profits on Raw after WrestleMania.
Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn snapped The Usos longest tag team title reign in an instant classic match. It was a really unpredictable match which was filled with near falls. But, in the end, the friendship defeated the blood.
Moreover, the new SmackDown women’s champion Rhea Ripley will also appear on the April 7 episode of SmackDown to claim her throne. She defeated Charlotte Flair in a hard-fought match at WWE WrestleMania 39 Night 1.
These are the only two segments announced for this Friday’s SmackDown.
