Jayne vs Dolin, Breakker Trios Match Added to NXT Roadblock 2023
WWE has added three more matches to the match card of NXT Roadblock 2023 special.
Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne for Toxic Attraction will clash in a grudge match. Jacy turned on her former teammate three weeks back during the Ding Dong Hello segment and stomped her face into the door.
Gigi returned to last week’s show to retaliate against Jacy. Gigi also cut a promo on this week’s NXT episode talking about her time in Toxic Attraction and her past struggles. The promo ended with Gigi announcing that she will face Jacy at Roadblock.
The Creed Brothers were looking for a tag team partner as they continued their rivalry with the trio Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher. After Demon Kamp denied reuniting with Diamond Mine, NXT Champion Bron Breakker agreed to tag with The Creed Brothers. Breakker defeated Mahal to retain the NXT title last week.
Andre Chase could not take it anymore when Schism took over his presentation and called Chase U a trash place, and announced that he would face Joe Gacy at Roadblock. This was a continuance of Schism’s Ava Raine abducting Chase U’s Thea Hail and The Dyad beating Chase and Duke Hudson in a tag team match.
Roxanne Perez vs Meiko Satomura for NXT Women’s Championship and Jailhouse Street fight between Dijak and Tony D’Angelo were already announced for the show. WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michael has also agreed to appear on Grayson Waller effect segment.
