IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2023
Multiverse United: Only the Strong Survive 2023 event was a joint-collaboration event between IMPACT Wrestling and NJPW. The event took place on March 30, 2023, as part of WrestleCon 2023 at Globe Theater in Los Angeles, CA, during WrestleMania 39 weekend.
This is the second Multiverse event from IMPACT Wrestling at WrestleCon. The event featured several inter-promotional matches between IMPACT and NJPW. It also featured matches for NJPW Strong Openweight Championship, IMPACT Tag Team titles, a 6-way scramble for X-Division title and new contender for IMPACT Knockouts title.

Yuya Uemera and Gabriel Kidd kicked off the card on the pre-show before the main card in a singles match. Which one of the young wrestlers in NJPW came out on the top?

Trey Miguel(c) vs. Rich Swann vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Kevin Knight vs. Clark Connors vs. Rocky Romero – 6-way Scramble for IMPACT X-Division Championship
If he managed to retain his title at Sacrifice, Trey Miguel was announced to defend X-Division title in a 6-way scramble match. Rich Swann and Frankie Kazarian represent IMPACT in this match while NJPW sent Kevin Knight, Clark Connors and Rocky Romero from their roster to compete for the title.

Fred Rosser, Alex Coughlin, Sami Callihan & PCO vs Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, Tom Lawlor & J. R. Kratos
Two sets of wrestlers from IMPACT and NJPW each formed a team to collide in an 8-man tag team match. Fred Rosser & Alex Coughlin from NJPW teamed up with Sami Callihan and PCO from IMPACT in one team. The other team saw Tom Lawlor & JR Kratos from NJPW teamin up with Eddie Edwards & Joe Hendry from IMPACT.

Moose vs Jeff Cobb
Two behemoths from NJPW and IMPACT in the form of Moose and Jeff Cobb collided in a singles match at Multiverse United. Who proved to be the stronger one?

Deonna Purrazzo vs Gisele Shaw vs Miyu Yamashita vs Masha Slamovich – Winner Gets IMPACT Knockouts Title Match at Rebellion
Mickie James was announced to defend Knockouts title at Multiverse United against Miyu Yamashita, Gisele Shaw & Deonna Purrazzo. However, James suffered broken ribs and was sidelined. IMPACT then announced that Masha Slamovich would be added to this match and winner would face Jordynne Grace at Rebellion if Mickie James was not cleared by then.

Bullet Club(Ace Austin and Chris Bey)(c) vs Aussie Open(Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) vs TMDK(Shane Haste & Bad Dude Tito) vs The Motor City Machine Guns(Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) – Four Way Match for IMPACT Tag Team Championship
IMPACT announced that Ace Austin & Chris Bey of Bullet Club would defend the title in a 4-way tag team match. The other teams in the match were Former Champions Motor City Machine Gun from IMPACT, and TMDK and Aussie Open from NJPW.

Kushida vs Lio Rush
Kushida was earlier supposed to challenge Josh Alexander for IMPACT World Championship. However, Alexander got injured and relinquished the title. Kushida then faced Lio Rush instead in a non-title singles match.

Kenta(c) vs Minoru Suzuki – NJPW Strong Openweight Championship
After his appearances on IMPACT for more than a month, Kenta defended his NJPW Strong Openweight Championship at this event. He faced NJPW veteran Minoru Suzuki in a singles match over the title.

Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Mike Bailey
Will Ospreay and Mike Bailey were booked to clash at Multiverse United. But, Will Ospreay suffered an injury. He was later replaced by Hiroshi Tanahashi for his first clash against Mike Bailey.
