IMPACT Hard to Kill 2023 PPV was the first event from IMPACT Wrestling in 2023. It was the 5th event in Hard to Kill event series.
Josh Alexander defended IMPACT World Championship against Bully Ray at the event. Mickie James challenged for IMPACT Knockout Champion Jordynne Grace in the main event match.

6-Way X-Division Match

A 6-way battle from the X-Division saw the likes of Mike Bailey, Kushida, Angels, Bhuppinder Gujjar, Mike Jackson and Yuya Uemera in action on the pre-show.

Trey Miguel(c) vs Black Taurus (Pre-Show Match)
Singles Match for IMPACT X-Division Championship

Trey Miguel won the vacant X-Division Championship by defeating Black Taurus in a tournament final. Miguel got the win after illegally using a spray paint can. He later attacked Taurus and Crazzy Steve before a tag team match on an IMPACT weekly episode. Later, IMPACT announced a rematch between Miguel and Taurus at Hard to Kill.

Josh Alexander(c) vs Bully Ray
Full Metal Mayhem match for IMPACT World Championship

Bully Ray won the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match at the Bound for Glory 2022 event. After Alexander defeated Frankie Kazarian at OverDrive 2022, Bully Ray came out and attacked him before telling him that he would cash in the contract for the title match at Hard to Kill. Alexander later asked for Full Metal Mayhem stipulation to be added to the match.

Four Way Match for IMPACT World Tag Team Championship

MCMG defended their tag team title defense against The Major Players, Bullet Club and Heath & Rhino to determine who is the best tag team in IMPACT. Rhino & Heath were the previous champions and defended the title against Cardona & Myers before losing the titles to MCMG. Austin & Bey came back to IMPACT after reaching the finals of NJPW Super Junior Tag League 2022.

Joe Hendry(c) vs Moose
Singles Match for IMPACT World Digital Media Championship

After several successful defenses of his IMPACT Digital Media Championship, Joe Hendry challenged Moose to face him. Moose used a low blow and a spear to pin Hendry during the match. But, Santino Marella, the new authority figure for IMPACT, came out to restart the match. Hendry then went on to defeat Moose to retain the title.

Masha Slamovich vs Deonna Purrazo vs Taylor Wilde vs Killer Kelly
Fatal 4-Way Match for #1 Contender for IMPACT Knockouts Championship

IMPACT announced that a new #1 contender will be determined for the Knockouts title in a fatal 4-way match. Former Champion Deonna Purrazo was the first participant in the match along with Masha Slamovich who was feuding with Jordynne Grace previously. Taylor Wilde’s newfound aggression got her a place in the match along with Killer Kelly.

Steve Maclin vs Rich Swann
Falls Count Anywhere Match

After their previous clash ended in a double count out, Rich Swann challenged Steve Maclin for a Falls Count Anywhere match at Hard to Kill PPV.

Jonathan Gresham vs Eddie Edwards
Singles Match

Jonathan Gresham returned to IMPACT Wrestling on December 15, 2022 episode to confront Eddie Edwards and save Delirious from an attack. Gresham later revealed that his previously scrapped match against Edwards would now take place at Hard to Kill 2023.

Jordynne Grace(c) vs Mickie James
Career vs Title Match for IMPACT Knockouts Championship

Mickie James started her “Last Rodeo” run towards the Knockouts title with an announcement that she would retire when she loses her next match. After beating the likes of Mia Yim, Chelsea Green, Taylor Wilde and Deonna Purrazzo, James challenged Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace. This was once again the Last Rodeo match with James’ career on the line. The match was later confirmed as the main event.
