According to the latest reports, Johnny Gargano’s WWE NXT contract will expire soon.

Earlier, the news came out that Kevin Owens’ contract will expire on January 31, 2022, and then it was also revealed that Sami Zayn’s contract will also expire very soon. Now, Johnny Gargano joined this list of veteran superstars as well. Fightful Select reported that Gargano’s contract will expire on December 3, 2021.

WWE hasn’t pitched Gargano a new contract so far, but they will likely begin the negotiations this fall. Fortunately, this situation isn’t the same as Adam Cole or Pete Dunne where the officials suddenly came to know that their deals are expiring.

The officials speculated Adam Cole’s deal will also end alongside Johnny Gargano, and they planned to talk with them ahead of this time period.

Johnny Gargano began his NXT career back in 2015 and has inked a contract in 2016. In his initial days, he used to be in a tag team with Tomasso Ciampa, and they are the former NXT tag-team champions as well. In January 2019, he became the NXT North American champion, and in the April of the same year, Gargano won the NXT championship to become the first-ever NXT Triple Crown Champion.

Gargano has been a part of the Hartwell-Lumis storyline as of late, but he recently hinted that he wants to win the NXT championship again.
