AEW Fight for the Fallen 2019 Predictions & Preview
Brandi Rhodes vs Allie
Preview- Brandi Rhodes has been seen as a facilitator for the women’s division up to this point and will only have the first match at this event. She will be facing on Allie, who had only worked her first match in AEW when she defeated Leva Bates at Fyter Fest. There was some underhanded tension shown between Rhodes and Allie. But they seem to have buried the hatchet at the latest episode of Road to Fight for the Fallen.
Prediction- Earlier it was convinced that Brandi will be winning here using some tactic to cement her heel authority figure. But after the promo from Allie on Road to Fight for the Fallen, my prediction is that she will continue her winning run.
Britt Baker & Riho vs Bea Priestley & Shoko Nakajima
Preview- This will be only the second match for Britt Baker after her win in the fatal 4-way match at Double or Nothing. Riho is also coming off back to back wins as she was part of the winning team in the six women tag team match at Double or Nothing and then winning the triple threat match at Fyter Fest Their opponents, Bea Priestley and Shoko Nakajima will be making their AEW debuts at the show.
Prediction- The pair of Britt Baker and Riho are coming off the wins at previous shows. So, we expect them to continue that momentum.
Lucha Bros vs SCU(Frankie Kazarian & Scorpio Sky) w/ Christopher Daniels
Preview- Lucha Bros are coming from back to back loss to the Young Bucks at Double or Nothing and Fyter Fest. In the meantime, they did win the AAA tag team championships back from the Young Bucks in an AAA event. But they will look to come back to the winning ways at AEW show also. On the other hand, SCU has won the opening match at Double or Nothing but were unable to get the win at Fyter Fest pre-show.
Prediction- Lucha Bros are due a win before entering to the AEW tag team championship tournament. And this might be a good moment to give them a win.
Sonny Kiss vs Peter Avalon
Preview- Sonny Kiss was earlier seen at the Casino Battle Royal at the pre-show of AEW Double or Nothing but he is yet to feature any other match. Peter Avalon first appeared at Double or Nothing pre-show in his Librarian Gimmick. Many fans have been vocally negative about the “librarian” gimmick both he and Leva Bates have been portraying. And this will be a good opportunity for him to showcase his in-ring ability.
Prediction- With Leva Bates losing at Fyter Fest, at least one of the librarians should get a win and hence expect Peter Avalon to win.
Dark Order vs Jack Evans & Angelico vs Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus
Preview- Dark Order will make their in-ring debut at Fight for the Fallen after tormenting Best Friends at the past two AEW shows. They will face the tag teams of Jack Evans & Angelico vs Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus in a triple threat tag team match. Those two teams would also try and establish themselves on AEW by getting the wins underway. The winner of the match will advance to All Out for an opportunity at a first-round bye in the AEW World Tag Team Titles tournament.
Prediction- Dark Order has marked the Best Friends for their first feud. So, it would be logical for them to win this match and face them at ALL OUT.
