John Cena and Kurt Angle WrestleMania 35 Notes

The rumors always expressed that John Cena is set to appear at WrestleMania 35 this year and he will work a match that is being kept a surprise. The things are not getting any clearer as John Cena and his expected opponent Kurt Angle have given contradicting statements just two days before the show.

Cena did an interview with Chris Van Vliet where he said, “I will be at WrestleMania every year, no matter what. I just don’t have anything this year, which I have come to grips with.” He was also asked about the possibilities about the Kurt Angle match but he said he could only do what he is asked for while also terming his posts about Baron Corbin as the trolling.

On the other hand, Kurt Angle, during another interview with Gorilla Position, stated that Cena does have a match at WrestleMania. Just that the match is not against him. Angle said:

“I was hoping it was going to be John (Cena), but it didn’t happen. I am sure he has another match in mind, but I wanted him to end my career just like when he started, I started it. It was a good little storyline but unfortunately, that’s not how it worked out. I love John and I know he will have a WrestleMania match, I’m not sure they’ve announced it yet but I am almost positive he’s going to be there.”

One can make whatever they want to of these statements from being a misdirection or being true. We just need to wait for 48 hours more. Keep tracking our WrestleMania Center for the updates.
