AEW Trios Championship Match Added to Double or Nothing 2023

AEW Double or Nothing 2023 Week

The Acclaimed & House of Black will be involved as the Trios Championship match is added to the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view event on May 28, 2023.

AEW Trios Champions House of Black(Brody King, Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black) will defend their titles against The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) and Billy Gunn at the PPV event.

This situation got the spotlight after The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn defeated La Faccion Ingobernables’ Dralistico, RUSH, and Preston Vance during AEW Rampage tapings of May 26 episode. After winning their match, The Acclaimed revealed that they will be coming after the AEW World Trios titles at AEW Double or Nothing.

The House of Black won their Trio Championship at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view event on March 5, 2023, by defeating The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks).

There are a lot of interesting and hyped-up matches in the AEW Double or Nothing event but the most awaiting match is going to be the main event, where MJF is defending his AEW World Championship in a fatal 4-way match against Sammy Guevara, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Darby Allin Pillars.

Another Trio tag team match is also set between The Hardy Party (Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy and Isiah Kassidy) and The Firm (Ethan Page, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn). But Isiah Kassidy will be replaced by Hook because of his injury that took place on the May 12 episode of AEW Rampage.
