Welcome to the live results blog for AEW Rampage for February 24, 2023 episode as the build-up for Revolution 2023 event continued.

The show was headlined by a match between Action Andretti and Sammy Guevara as Ricky Starks and Action Andretti’s rivalry with Jericho Appreciation Society continued. Sammy challenged Andretti the previous week after he blocked Sammy to help out Daniel Garcia in a match against Starks.

The Young Bucks welcomed Aussie Open in the opening match of the night. “Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer also returned to the action. Toni Storm battled Willow Nightingale in a singles match. We heard from Dustin Rhodes and Ketih Lee as they addressed Swerve Strickland and Mogul Affiliates. The show was pre-taped earlier on Wednesday and the spoilers were available here.

  • The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) defeated Aussie Open(Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) in a tag team match via pinfall.

LIVE UPDATES

Aussie Open(Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) vs The Young Bucks(Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson)

Davis starts with Matt but Fletcher attacks Matt from behind. They also take down Nick. Aussie Open works in double team to attack Matt. Matt fights back from the corner with big boots. He lands on his feet twice to counter a back body drop and tags in Nick. Nick hits crossbody after old school rope walk. Matt comes in to assist him to send Aussie Open to the floor.

Davis and Matt get the tags now. Nick comes in for double team but Davis hits them with body slams. He hits a double body slam on both Jackson Brothers to get a two-count. Matt escapes out of a powerslam and tags in Nick fore more double team. A superkick sends Davis to the floor. Fletcher eats a facebuster before being sent to the floor. Aussie open are dropped on the apron next. Davis and Fletcher over power their opponents and slams The Young Bucks into each other. We cut to a break.

Davis tags in against Matt as we return from the break. Davis nails Matt with hard chops. Matt fights off a double team and drops Davis’ face on the ropes before hitting hurricanrana on Fletcher from the top ropes. Matt gets the tag and starts to hit Fletcher with quick punches. He hits a sliced bread on Fletcher before a crossbody dive on Davis on the floor.

The Bucks double team on Fletcher to hit a bull dog. They block Davis from getting into the ring before hitting a enzuigiri and clothesline combo Fletcher. Matt holds Fletcher on the ropes as Nick hits a senton on him. Nick hits a senton on Davis as he gets into the ring. Fletcher hits a brainbuster on Matt on the floor. Davis drops Nick with a lariat.

Fletcher and Davis hit a double team finisher on Nick Jackson but he kicks out of the pin. Nick counters another double team with a cutter. Aussie Open miss double elbow shots on Nick. The Bucks hits double superkicks on Fletcher but miss BTE Trigger. Nick and Fletcher trade punches. Matt gets the tag. Davis pulls out Nick and Matt pulls out Fletcher.

Matt has Fletcher in a piledriver position when the lights go off. They turn on and Fletcher has countered with a piledriver of his own. Aussie Open hit Corneolle finisher on Matt but Nick breaks the pin. Davis ends up hitting Fletcher with a clothesline before Matt counters another double team to lead to Davis hitting a piledriver on Fletcher. The Bucks throw Davis to the floor and hit Fletcher with BTE Trigger to get the pinfall.

Winner – The Young Bucks

After the match, Kenny Omega gets into the ring to celebrate with The Youn Bucks. Lights go off and House of Black surround the ring as they come on. The Elite get ready to face House of Black but they disappear when the lights go off once again.


Best Friends are getting interviewed backstage when Big Bill, Lee Moriarty and The Gunn Club attack them. The Gunns had metal pipes to attack Best Friends.

After the break, we see Danhausen and Orange Cassidy checking on Best Friends. Cassidy asks who did this. Baretta names the culprits.

Willow Nightingale vs Toni Storm

Toni rushes Willow to hit kicks on her in the corner. Willow hits a back elbow, a clothesline and a senton to get a two-count. Willow hits big chops in the corner. Willow hits more quick moves. Toni rakes her face and pulls her hair to slam her into the face. Storm whips Willow into the barricade to take us to a break.

Willow misses a cannonball and Toni hits her with a hip attack quickly. Toni hits a DDT to get a two-count. Willow whips her to the corner and hits a cannonball this time. Willow hits a Death Valley driver to get a two-count. Saraya gets on the apron and Willow pulls her into the ring. Toni hits a chop block to her knees and hits Storm Zero to get the pinfall.

Winner – Toni Storm

Saraya brings the spray paint can to spray “L” on Willow. Ruby Soho runs out quickly. Saraya and Toni run out to the ramp. Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker run out. Hayter chases Saraya around the ring and ends up catching her on the ramp to drop her.


We see an interview from The Acclaimed earlier from Wednesday. They say they have already faced Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. Satnam Singh, Lethal & Jarrett attack them and put them down. Lethal puts a figure four leg lock on Bowens.

Lance Archer vs Dave Dunzo

Archer hits a back body drop on the floor as Dunzo tries to rush him. The bell rings and Archer hits big chops in the corner. Some clotheslines followed. Dunzo tries to fight back but Archer drops him with a lariat to get the pinfall.

Winner – Lance Archer

Keith Lee is with Dustin Rhodes in a video promo. He calls out Swerve Strickland and Mogul Affiliates to come see him next week. Swerve replies they will be there.


Stokeley Hathaway is backstage with Ethan Page, Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy. He tells us about Hook’s opponent on Dynamite next week and teases Ethan Page with it, but announces Matt Hardy to be it. Hardy is caught surprised but says he is a legend and can take down Hook. He gets hyped and Kassidy joins in to say that The Firm should be banned from ringside. Page joins into make the match a No Disqualification match. Hardy is hyped.

Action Andretti vs Sammy Guevara

Andretti starts with a roll-up to get a two-count. He lands on his feet when he hits a hurricanrana. Andretti hits a hurricanrana himself to send Sammy to the floor. He whips Sammy to the barricade. Sami turns it around and sends Andretti into the barricade. Andretti fights back and hits a jumping clothesline on Sammy on the floor.

Sammy hits back with a jumping knee as they return to the ring. Andretti blocks a sunset flip and hits a falcon arrow to get a two-count. Sammy rolls to the floor and manages to send Andretti into the barricade. Andretti counters a suplex on the floor. Andretti hits a 450 splash on the floor to take us to a break.

Sammy gets his knees up on a split legged moonsault from Andretti. He hits a twisting facebuster on Andretti to get a close two-count. Sammy misses a shooting star press and Andretti hits a dropkick. Andretti hits a springboard kick to get a close two-count. Andretti goes for GTH but Sammy lands on his feet. They trade big shots before Sammy takes over with knee strikes and thrust kicks. Andretti hits a standing Spanish fly to get another near fall.

Andretti hits a shotgun dropkick in the corner. Daniel Garcia distracts Andretti and Sammy drops him with a lariat. Sammy hits GTH to get the pinfall.

Winner – Action Andretti
