AEW Rampage Match Card Revealed for October 14, 2022
AEW will present a pre-taped show of Rampage on October 14, 2022, and the match card for the show is revealed now.
The show will be taped on Thursday, October 13 at Coca-Cola Colesseum, and will feature two singles matches, a tag team match and a trios match.
Ethan Page will face Isiah Kassidy in a singles match with Private Party and Matt Hardy’s future on the line. The match was set up after it was revealed that The Firm has purchased Private Party’s contract. When Matt Hardy took offense to it, Page proposes a match against Kassidy and Private Party will be free of their contract if Kassidy wins. However, he also added that The Firm will own Hardy’s contract also if Page wins the match.
FTR, Wardlow and Samoa Joe are feuding with The Embassy for a while now. Wardlow defeated Brian Cage while FTR defeated Gates of Agony from The Embassy. After Wardlow and Samoa Joe got a win over Nightmare Factory, The Embassy was out once again. FTR also come out and revealed that Shawn Spears will be their partner to face The Embassy in a six-man tag team match.
Additionally, Anna Jay AS has challenged Nyle Rose for a singles match. Nyle Rose stole Jade Cargill’s TBS Women’s Championship title belt last week at Battle of the Belts IV event. She was showing off the title backstage when Anna came out to challenge her.
AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will team up with Claudio Castagnoli to take on The Butcher & The Balde. The announced line-up for AEW Rampage is as below:
- Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli vs The Butcher & The Blade
- Anna Jay AS vs Nyle Rose
- Ethan Page vs Isiah Kassidy – If Page Wins, The Firm Gets Matt Hardy’s Contract; if Kassidy wins, Private Party is free from The Firm
- FTR(Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) & Shawn Spears vs The Embassy(Brian Cage, Kaun & Tao Liona)
