AEW is set to make its Canada debut with the October 12, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite. It will feature a stacked card including two championship matches.

Chris Jericho will defend the ROH World title against former champion Bryan Danielson. Meanwhile, PAC will defend the AEW All-Atlantic Championship against Orange Cassidy. A tag-team match between Dr. Britt Baker & Jamie Hayter vs Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida will also take place. Moreover, Swerve Strickland vs Billy Gunn, and Jungle Boy vs Luchasauraus have also been announced. Read below to check the complete preview and match card for AEW Dynamite October 12, 2022.

Jericho vs Danielson 3 for ROH World Title

Chris Jericho and Bryan Danielson will write the third chapter in their rivalry as they face each other for the ROH World Championship. Both Jericho and Danielson are 1-1 with Jericho winning at All Out and Danielson getting the win at Dynamite two weeks later. The trilogy bout comes with a prize in the form of ROH World title. Will Jericho be able to keep the ROH World title on his shoulders or will Bryan Danielson become the ROH World Champion one more time?

PAC vs Orange Cassidy 2 for All Atlantic Title

At AEW Battle of the Belts IV, PAC defeated Trent Baretta using a bell hammer. It was then that Orange Cassidy decided he had enough of PAC retaining his title using cheap tricks. As a result, he challenged PAC for a championship match one more time. PAC has already retained his title against Cassidy once at Grand Slam this year. So, will the outcome be any different this time around?

Jungle Boy vs Luchasauraus

The former AEW tag-team champions Jungle Boy and Luchsauraus will collide against one another to settle their long-brewing rivalry. Last week, Jungle Boy saved Fuego Del Sol from Luchasauraus, and then challenged the latter for a match. Christian was the one to accept Jungle Boy’s challenge on Luchasauraus’ behalf and revealed that the match would take place on Canadian soil.

Shane “Swerve” Strickland vs Billy Gunn

Billy Gunn was an influence when The Acclaimed defeated Swerve in Our Glory to win AEW Tag Team Champions. Shane Strickland has pointed it out and interrupted National Scissoring Day last week to challenge “Daddy A–” Billy Gunn for a singles match. Gunn was happy to accept the match. Will it be an easy win for Swerve? Or will Gunn’s power prove too much for him?

Toni Storm & Hikaru Shida vs Dr Britt Baker DMD vs Jamie Hayter

Interim Women’s Champion Toni Storm was supposed to partner with Hikaru Shida 4 weeks ago on Dynamite to take on Britt Baker’s team. However, Baker got Shida attacked and left her injured. Shida is fit and cleared for action now. And the first thing she will be doing is competing in the same match she was supposed to compete in 4 weeks earlier.

What More to Expect?

MJF got AEW World Champion Jon Moxley attacked on GCW Fight Club 2022. He currently holds the chop for a world title shot. Does he have a specific date in mind to cash it in?

Wardlow’s rivalry with The Embassy is shimmering. He defeated Brian Cage last week on Dynamite. Will we see continuation of that rivalry?
