AEW Dynamite episode of March 5, 2023, will be a stacked one as it features a total of four title matches.
FTR will put their AEW career on the line as they face The Gunns for AEW Tag Team title match. House of Black will defend the trios title against Orange Cassidy & Best Friends. Ethan Page will challenge Hook for the FTW title, whereas Riho will face Jamie Hayter for the AEW Women’s title. Ricky Starks vs Juice Robinson & Sammy Guevara vs Komander will also take place. The Gunns vs FTR – FTR Leaves AEW If They Lose
On the March 22 episode of Dynamite, FTR challenged The Gunns for the AEW tag team titles. The Gunns were unwilling to give them a title shot as they had already defeated FTR earlier this year. Only when FTR offered to put their AEW careers on the line, The Gunns granted them a title shot. Will FTR be able to save their AEW career?
Riho vs Jamie Hayter
The former AEW Women’s Champion Riho has been in the red hot form lately as she picked up several consecutive wins. As a result, she climbed the rankings with a confirmation on March 27 edition of AEW: Dark Elevation that she would face Jamie Hayter for the title this Wednesday. Will Riho be able to become the champion again?
Hook vs Ethan Page
Hook’s feud with the Firm continues as he will put the FTW title against Ethan Page this Wednesday. Hook has already defeated Stokely Hathaway and Matt Hardy. Haryd revealed on the March 31 episode of AEW Rampage that he had prepared a contract for a match between Hook & Page. As Page was signing the contract, Hardy had a smirk on his face indicating that Hardy has put some clause in the contract. How will this contract affect Page?
House of Black vs Orange Cassidy & Best Friends
Last week on AEW Rampage, it was confirmed that House of Black would defend the AEW World trios titles against Orange Cassidy & Best Friends. Malakai & Black & Brody King faced Beretta & Taylor in a tag team match which ended in a disqualification. They continue to attack Best Friends after the match. Orange Cassidy was also laid out by Buddy Mathews when he tried to make the save. These two teams will now clash in a trios match with the title on the line.
Ricky Starks vs Juice Robinson
Ricky Starks has been trying to fight Juice Robinson ever since the latter attacked him on the March 8 episode of Dynamite. Starks almost got his hands on Robinson on March 25th Dynamite, but Robinson ran away. He later revealed that he wanted to face Ricky Starks in New York to set up the match to this week’s episode. Will Starks be able to get his revenge?
What Else is Announced?
Sammy Guevara will face Komander in a singles match after he defeated Konosuke Takeshita last week.
AEW World Champion MJF will celebrate MJF day in his hometown of Long Island. This match comes when MJF is facing a threat from a trio of challengers in Jack Perry, Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin. How will that storyline continue?
