AEW Battle of the Belts IV Results- PAC, Cargill & FTR in Action
Welcome to the Live Results Blog for AEW Battle of the Belts IV TNT special episode on October 7, 2022.
The quaterly special show will air from Entertainment and Sport Arena in Washington D.C., and will feature three title matches. All Atlantic Champion PAC will pull off double duty on the night as he faces Trent Baretta after being in action on Rampage an hour earlier.
Jade Cargill will look to continue her unbeaten streak as she defends TBS Women’s Championship against Willow Nightingale. FTR will be in action as they defend ROH World Tag Team titles against Gates of Agony’s Kaun & Toa Liona.

PAC(c) vs Trent Baretta – AEW All Atlantic Championship
They trade forearms to start the match. Trent hits chops on the floor before dropping PAC with a body slam. Back to the ring, Trent nails PAC with some punches. PAC tries to get a breather by getting to the floor. Trent keeps beating him up. He hits a spear on the floor and brings him in to get a two-count. PAC hits a superkick to counter Trent. PAC sets up a table near the ramp. Trent tries to get an advantage by setting him up on the table but PAC moves out. Trent hits him with a kick from the ring. PAC counters and hits an avalanche brainbuster to take us to a break.
Trent hits a double-boots stomp as we return. Trent hits chops and forearms before hitting a German suplex. He follows with a half-and-half suplex and a tornado DDT to get a near fall. PAC is sent into the corner face-first before a big lariat. Trent hits a piledriver but PAC kicks out of the pin. PAC goes to the ramp. Trent follows him and PAC sends him through the table with a suplex. Back to the ring, PAC goes for the Black Arrow but Trent gets his knees up. PAC cuts off a spear with a knee strike. Trent counters with an inside cradle for a two-count.
Trent hits an avalanche half-and-half suplex to get a near fall. PAC counters with Brutalizer. Trent gets his boots on the ropes to force the break. PAC goes and picks up the hammer from the floor. Trent goes for another suplex but PAC nails him with the hammer. The referee could not see it and PAC has the hammer hidden. PAC covers and gets the pin.
Winner – PAC
Jade Cargill(c) vs Willow Nightingale – AEW TBS Women’s Championship
Cargill gets the upper hand out of the gate. Willow fires back with quick shots. Jade rolls to the floor and Baddies check up on her. Jade returns to the ring and drops Willow to take us to a break.
Willow hits a clothesline as we return from the break. She ducks a clothesline and hits a Tijeras. She hits a dropkick from the ropes. Jade bocks a Doctor’s bomb and hits a slam. Jade hits Jaded to get the pin.
Winner – Jade Cargill
After the match, Vickie Guerrero comes out to the stage and distracts Jade. Nyla Rose steals TBS Women’s title belt and runs away.
Stokeley Hathaway and Ethan Page are with Matt Hardy backstage. Hardy asks them why are they following him. They accuse him of contract tampering with Private Party and show a video to prove it. Hardy argues that he was just talking to Private Party and there is no contract tampering.
FTR(Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood)(c) vs Gates of Agony(Toa Liona & Kaun) – ROH World Tag Team Championship
Kaun and Dax start the match. Kaun pushes Dax to the corner. Dax hits him with a shoulder tackle. Kaun hits him with a short arm clothesline. Dax hits chops and elbows in the corner. Dax unloads with some punches. Liona gets into the ring and Cash also comes in to counter him. FTR hits a double team suplex. Kaun hits a clothesline on Cash. Liona tags in and hits a body slam. Cash tries to roll him up but Liona hits him with a hip splash. Kaun tags in. Cash drops him on the ropes. Liona sends Cash into the barricade. Cash then sidesteps and trips Liona into the barricade. We cut to a break.
Cash fights against both Kaun and Liona in the opposite corner. He tags in Dax. Dax unloads on Kaun but Liona drops him from behind. Liona hits a slam on Dax. Dax goes for a crossbody but Liona catches him. Cash hits a dropkick to assist Dax with the crossbody. Back and forth action and counters continue. FTR hit the Big Rig on Tiona, but Kaun breaks the pin. Dax rolls up Kaun later as Prince Nana had the referee distracted. Dax sends Kaun into Nana to knock him off. Dax gets the pin with a backslide to win the match.
Winner – FTR
Brian Cage comes out to join Gates of Agony to attack FTR. Wardlow also comes out, but he gets outnumbered. Samoa Joe runs out to make the save.
