Viviane Araujo vs Amanda Ribas in Works for UFC 285

A women’s flyweight bout is in the works for the UFC 285 PPV event. 

According to the latest reports, Viviane Araujo will square off against Amanda Ribas at UFC 285 on March 4, 2023, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. 

Dama de Ferro MMA was the first one to report this matchup which was later confirmed by multiple sources. 

Araujo is currently ranked at #7 in the UFC women’s flyweight rankings. She is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Alexa Grasso earlier this year in October. Her last win came against Andrea Lee in May 2021. Before that, she lost a match against Katlyn Chookagian in May 2021. 

On the other hand, Amanda Ribas is #15 in the UFC women’s flyweight and #9 in women’s strawweight rankings. Ribas is coming off a split-decision loss against Katlyn Chookagian. Her last win came against Virna Jandiroba at the UFC 267 PPV event. 

Now, on March 4, 2023, one of these fighters will get back on the winning path with a victory at UFC 285.
