EVENT NOTES

This is the second UFC event at the O² Arena in London, UK, this year after UFC 286 PPV.

Earlier, this event in London was earlier supposed to be UFC 291 PPV with UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards defending the title against Colby Covington. However, Leon Edwards did not agree to defend the title at the event and instead opted to compete at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi, UAE. UFC President Dana White then announced that UFC would return to London on July 22, 2023, with a fight night event and promised something special on the card.

UFC announced on May 10, 2023, that Tom Aspinall vs Marcin Tybura heavyweight bout would headline the event.
