According to the report from Carlos Contreras Legaspi of ESPN Deportes, Raul Rosas Jr and Mitchell are set to clash in a bantamweight bout at the UFC’s September 16 event in Vegas.

Just 18 years old, Raul Rosas Jr.’s recent fight was against Christian Rodriguez at UFC 287 event, where he lost by unanimous decision. The match between Rosas Jr and Rodriguez ended Rosas Jr.’s unbeaten run in MMA after seven fights.
Terrence Mitchell made his UFC debut against Cameron Saaiman at UFC 290 event, where he lost by KO. He returned to action in 2023 after a long lay-off due to injuries. The loss at UFC 290 was Mitchell’s first pro-MMA loss in the last 12 years. He lost to Kai-Kara France in The Ultimate Fighter season 24 in 2016 during this run.
