Ottman Azaitar has been booked to face Matt Frevola at UFC 281 on November 12 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.
Frevola announced this fight himself on Twitter by sharing a video. Frevola even addressed Azaitar as Mr. Potatohead in this video.
These two fighters were scheduled to collide at UFC 257 in January 2021. However, a bag of potatoes got this bout canceled.
The team of Ottman Azaitar got out of the UFC bubble in order to retrieve a bag that was later revealed to be filled with potatoes. However, they got caught by the UFC staff and the promotion eventually canceled the bout.
Ottman Azaitar is undefeated in MMA so far. He made a successful debut against Teemu Packalen and then defeated Khama Worthy in his second UFC match.
On the other hand, Frevola’s UFC career was full of ups and downs. He recently rebounded from two losses in his most recent bout against Genaro Valdez where he won by the first-round TKO.
Now, it remains to be seen whether Azaitar stays undefeated or Frevola literally smashes Mr. Potatohead at UFC 281 on November 12.
