First bout for UFC 286 PPV in London is about to be finalized between Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze.

Vettori and Dolidze are said to have agreed to a middelweight clash at UFC 286. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto was the first to report the news while Dolidze himself confirmed it later on his Instagram page.

Vettori was last seen in the co-main event of UFC Paris Fight Night where he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker. That was Vettori’s only bout in 2022.

In 2021, The Italian Dream suffered a loss in a UFC Middleweight title fight to Israel Adesanya before defeating Paulo Costa in a Light Heavyweight bout. Vettori’s overall UFC record stands at 8-4-1.

Roman Dolidze, on the other hand, has been on a roll with 4 wins in a row. He suffered his first pro-MMA loss to Trevin Giles in early 2021, which was also his middleweight debut.

Dolidze has since defeated Laureano Staropoli via unanimous decision before picking knockout wins over Kyle Daukaus and Phil Hawes. Most recently, he defeated Jack Hermansson earlier this month.

UFC 286 PPV will be the third international PPV for UFC in 2023 as it is slated to take place at O2 Arena in London, UK. UFC 283 in Rio De Janerio, Brazil, and UFC 284 in Perth, Australia, will precede this event before UFC 285 in Las Vegas, NV.
