Mariya Agapova and Diego Ferreira Out of UFC 277, Joselyne Edward Steps In

Two matches will see some changes ahead of UFC 277 PPV event. 

Diego Ferreira has been ruled out of his scheduled bout against Drakkar Klose at UFC 277 due to an injury. BJPenn reported the news first and also revealed that the promotion is seeking a replacement for Klose at the event. 

Diego Ferreira is not the only one as Mariya Agapova has also withdrawn from her bout against Ji Yeon Kim. But, it seems like the promotion has already found a replacement for her. 

According to reports, Joselyne Edward would be the one to replace Agapova on July 30. However, the UFC hasn’t announced this news officially. 

UFC is still looking for someone to step up in order to face Drakkar Klose. It is likely that the promotion will officially reschedule both these fights soon. 

UFC 277 will take place at the American Airlines Center in Texas and will feature two headliner bouts. The first one will be the women’s bantamweight title fight between Juliana Pena and Amanda Nunes whereas in the second one Brandon Moreno will collide against Kai Kara-France for the interim flyweight title.
