Mana Martinez vs Cameron Saaiman Set for UFC 285
Two young bantamweights in Cameron Saaiman and Mana Martinez are set to face off at UFC 285 PPV.
Cameron Saaiman revealed the news about his bantamweight bout on his Instagram Page. UFC 285 is scheduled for March 4, 2023, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV.
Saaiman was one of the UFC debutants at UFC 282 in December 2022 where he defeated fellow debutant Steven Koslow via TKO late in round 3. 22 years old Saaiman was signed by UFC after a win in Dana White Contender Series 2022 over Josh Wang-Kim.
Mana Martinez was signed by UFC in 2021 after showing good showings in LFA and Fury FC. He also took part in DWCS 2020 season but failed to win against Drako Rodriguez.
Martinez made his promotional debut against Guido Cannetti in August 2021 before losing to Ronnie Lawrence at UFC 271. His most recent appearance came in a win against Brandon Davis in October 2022.
UFC 285 will be headlined by a couple of title fights. Jon Jones will return to face Ciryl Gane for the vacant Heavyweight Championship in the main event. Valentina Shevchenko will face Alexa Grasso to defend her women’s flyweight title in the co-main event.
